Mrs. Barker's 4th Grade

   I am thrilled to be your child's fourth grade teacher for the 2018 - 2019 school year!  I am looking forward to working with you and your child.

   I am a graduate from Oakland University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, majoring in Language Arts.  In 2004, I went back to Oakland University to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree in Reading & Language Arts.  I have been teaching in Utica Community Schools for eighteen years.  Prior to coming to Ebeling, I was just up the road at Beck Centennial Elementary where I taught fifth grade.

  I am married and my husband is in administration at the elementary/ junior high school level.  I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so we spend a lot of our summer on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.  

   Some things I enjoy include boating, exercising, crafts, and going to the movies!
